Seminar on the Development of High-value Herbal Products
High-value herbal products are given a priority in NKEA initiatives as new economic source. The development of high-value herbal products requires integration of knowledge and expertise in the field of pharmaceuticals, medicine, bioprocessing, chemical analysis, biotechnology, botanicals, marketing and others. This field has a great impact on the safety of the country’s medicines in the future. History has proven that the Malay world has a very comprehensive traditional herbal medicine system and scientific studies have proven it.
The Institute Marine Biotechnology (IMB) has organized a Conference on the Development of High Value Herbal Medicine on January 22, 2018 at the INOS Auditorium, UMT and two prominent experts: Dr. Abdul Ghani Hussain and Prof. Dr. Fadzilah Adibah Abdul Majid were sharing their expertise and knowledge with participants.
