The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Biotechnology is a joint PhD program between Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and Ghent University (UGent, Belgium), offered by the Institute of Marine Biotechnology (IMB), UMT. The programme aims to provide candidates with advanced and in-depth knowledge and transferable skills in biotechnology to innovate and create new knowledge to solve problems in an increasingly challenging and continually changing global bioindustry environment.
