Various micro-organisms isolated from marine and aquatic resources are identified and systematically stored in this repository. Such micro-organisms include bacteria, fungi and microalgae that may have vast   potentials in producing valuable bioproducts. Some of these microbes have been systematically characterised biochemically and physiologically. Others are waiting for researchers to unravel their potentials.
